I'm Clare Miller, and I started Workplace Mental Health LLC to help companies of all sizes take action on mental health to drive business results.

Background

My expertise draws from 25+ years of helping employers improve access to quality care and address barriers to well-being.

Before starting Workplace Mental Health llc, I served as the Global Mental Health Benefits Manager at Facebook/Meta, leading the company's global mental health and well-being strategy for its 74,000+ employees. I led the company's cross-functional work on mental health across HR functions, partnered with innovative vendors to disrupt the status quo, and integrated benefit programs to advance well-being.

I established the Center for Workplace Mental Health at the American Psychiatric Association, created to raise visibility about mental health and share case studies to highlight best practices.

Before that, I worked at the Business Group on Health, focusing on public policy, mental health and substance use disorders, emergency preparedness and health disparities. I started my career at Mental Health America, the nation’s older mental health advocacy organization.

I serve on the boards of directors for Mental Health America and Cover My Mental Health and the advisory board for MindShare Partners. I live in the Washington DC area with my partner Danielle and our daughter.
